How many of you out there like being booted out of a squad without any explanation? happened to me..and not the first time. I have had enough of it. I am going solo. Fucking asshats.

The Red Glitch

Don't you just hate the Red Glitch? Your team-mate turns up as red on your screen and you blow him away, and get a TK for it.

Well..here's a new one, and I didnt get a TK. This was on Gulf of Oman, playing on a 32p map. I boarded a T-90, a team-mate hopped on board and he was red. I checked on him earlier, and realising he was on my side (MEC), i didnt take him down (as i used to). So down the road we went towards the Hotel flag, and our MEC attack chopper spotted me, and because he saw red, he shot us and took us out


and the messsage was "mikeshw [blackhawk] -xxxxx-.. WTF, i went.. and i wasnt even in a blackhawk, FFS, i was in an T-90!

Flying into a Barnyard

I played a round on Dalian Plant 32p map, joint a BH squad (yeah..BH whoring.. I hear you).. but, the Chopper pilot was pretty good, as he flew right into the warehouse, lined me up for a shot at the two PLA hiding inside.



We capped the flag, and I thought it was a pretty amazing way of doing things..



but, a BH is a heck of big fat large target inside a warehouse..



..we got totalled by a T98..no chance in hell.

What a Squad

I sneaked in one quick round of BF2 this morning before i headed off to work..and it was probably one of the best matchups i have been on. We had a perfectly working squad. The Squad Leader (SL) was a good heli pilot, and I spawned into the heli as the squad headed out to the MEC airbase on the extreme east end of the Ops Clean Sweep map. I thought to myself, ok..he is going to cap flags with BH, with a filled heli of 6. But, surprise, surprise.. he landed on a ridge, everyone got off, and we went to cap the flag on foot. THis happened repeatedly, each time we all got into the BH, we landed like an insertion point. I even provided covering fire as they cap the flags.

We were the best squad! even though we did not win the round. It just goes to show that not all scores need to be gained just by BH-whoring.

Meritorius Unit Ribbon

finally got this ribbon last night.. it wasnt too difficult. 40points minimum in a round and need to play medic/support/engineer as well as neutralize, cap and defend flags.. more ribbons, please!

Last night was an interesting game.. played on a 64p Dragon Pass map with 32players..man, it was wild. The chinese team (which i was in) was losing really fast after the USMC capped all the flags. i made a dash for one of the USMC flags at the port using a buggy, bypassing all the USMC flag as i suspected that site was not defended since everyone on the USMC site was coming out of the chopper base on the east. I got that flag just in time, as the Chinese lost the last flag and i just had to get my CP without dying.. everyone streamed out of my CP after that, and it was a damn relief.

What is Wrong with Defence??

I find it strange that some gamers out there find it offensive that someone on their side is playing defence. This was on a 16p map on an Asian server, on Fushe Pass. I played sniper with an M95 guarding the northern most flag from on top of the warehouse. A fellow team mate came up and took shots at me. What an arsehole. Man, i got pissed. I got up, switched to silencer and shot him in the head. Prick! Quit the server after that, and the TK was worth every single freaking point.

Sniping in Sharqi

Finally found a way to play in Sharqi.. that is as a sniper. Move around on the rooftops, building to building.. and snipe a fellow BF2S forum visitor too..twice, and he came looking for me twice.. even steven.. haha.. my KPR is finally improving..

Knifing A Poor Fellow

As I play i am always mindful of improving my knife score (as of today stands at a 4:2 K/D ratio..

So there i was on 64p Songhua Stalemate playing USMC and being the obedient solitary squad leader/member. I was ordered to take the north middle flag, and set out on foot from the flag at the bottom of the hill with the USMC radar. as i reach the chinese flag, I saw a Spec Ops running past in front of me about 10BF2meters away.. "gee, he didnt see me".."hmm, i am in luck"

So I went after him as quietly as BF2 would allow me.. and suddenly he ran..so did i..pant pant.. he stopped at the temple in the middle, went prone.. i caught up.."sheeeeng".. ah.. gotcha.. as the knife went in, he got up and ran.. i stabbed thin air.. shit! so i ran after him.. pant pant (i swore i could actually hear myself pant on screen).. he jumped up on the wall, stood there for a while surveying the river.. "sheeeeeeng! again".. "stand still! will ya!" i stabbed him.. but nooooooo... he jumped off the wall, and i stabbed thin air again..ran across the swamp towards the middle south base..i swear i could have seen myself bent double onscreen tired.. i had to chase after him again.. "man, this is hard work!".. as he reached the base, arti came in..he slowed down.. i was already panting really hard.. "damnit, this is absurd".. he finally really really slowed down and went prone near the corner MG post to wait for arti to stop.. "ah..finally".. I crept up behind him as quietly as my tired and wornout BF2 legs (and worn out [shift][w] buttons) would allow.."sheeeeeeeng!".. he crept forward.."oh fuck me, here we go again, don't you get up and run again".. swing swing stab stab puff puff.. finally..poor guy, he didnt even know i was behind him all this while..

damn, it was comical trying to catch a spec-ops while in a full anti tank gear.. maybe roller blades should be introduced to get ahead, and the ability to grab them by their necks to stop them from moving

A very warm welcome to visitors of my blog. Its my online gaming diary playing EAGames' Battlefield 2.

For those of you not in the know, it is a great multiplayer first person shooter where you take on the role of either a USMC marine, a Middle East Coalition soldier or a Chinese Army regular. You play against fellow gamers on a variety of maps in a variety of scenarios..enough said.
